Position Vacant: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the rank of Senior Vice President

People’s Leasing and Financial Services Limited (PLFS) referred to as “Company,” is a Finance Company under The Finance Companies Act 2024 is regulated by Bangladesh Bank. To meet the company’s present need, we are looking for an experienced, energetic, result-oriented and self-motivated candidate, male or female, to act as Chief Financial Officer.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or similar professional degree from a reputed institution.

Job Description / Responsibility

1. To prepare the Inception Report, the strategic plan of the present strategies of the company.
2. Developing long-term financial strategies.
3. Managing financial risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
4. Overseeing Capital structure and investor relations.

The CFO will report & work in close consultation with the Managing Director of the Company.

Experience Requirements

At least 12 years of experience, out of which minimum 05 years working experience in a senior position of the Finance & Accounts department of any Bank/Finance Company.

Soft Skill: Strategic thinking, leadership, high-level decision making and communication skills in Bangla and English language, computer skills applicable in banks.

Maximum age limit: Age not exceeding 50 year(s).

Job Location: Company Head office in Dhaka or any other location decided by the Company.

Pay: Monthly; Tk 150,000-200,000 (depending on performance)

General Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for generating business of Home Loan/Auto Loan and achieve sales target in Dhaka area.

2. Maintain strong relationships with the Car Vendors & developers to collect potential customer references.

3. Carry out initial screening and credit assessment of potential customers and Prepare accurate submission of credit memos/proposals.

4. Maintain close liaison and coordination with internal stakeholders i.e., CRM, Operations, Legal and others.

5. Ensure compliance of regulator’s and organization's policies and guidelines.

Educational Requirements:

· Bachelors (BBA)/Masters (MBA) (Finance & Banking/ Accounting/Marketing or in any relevant discipline) from any reputed University with good academic result.

Experience: At least 02 (two) to 05 (Five) years practical experiences in Bank/NBFI, and particularly in Home Loan/Auto Loan in Dhaka areas.
